Illustration Friday – kom med dit bud…
Se alle de fantastiske bud p? denne uges tema: Night…
“>At night darkness comes and makes everything look different. I like the nights because it’s the only time I am alone. I love sitting in front of my computer, making illustrations. Having a cup of coffee and maybe even a piece of pie makes such a night perfect.
I work best at night. I like the silence and I like listening to my kids sleeping. I love to sit quiet making new ideas grow and if possible, make them perfect. I light a candle or two, make my coffee, cut a slice of pie and while I’m doing that, I’m enjoying the feeling of excitement. I know, that I’ve got some lovely hours all to myself. A good feeling…
PS – I so want to go see all the illustrations made for IF, but I have so much to do at the moment and never gets around to having a look at all the beautiful illustrations. I will try to make time for it this week, but one can never know. It seems like whenever I think there’s time for something like that – a new order arrives, but… it’s a positive problem, right? :-)
Illustration made in Fireworks with the use of homemade textures.

5. november 2005 at 18:20i do like the texture in the moon, but my favorite parts are the haze around the stars, and the way you repeated the moon’s roundness in the shrub just below…as a shadow almost.
very very nice.
