Illustration Friday – kom med dit bud…
Se alle de fantastiske bud p? denne uges tema: Dreams…
“>My children was dreaming (and begging) about having their own dog for several years. Begging me endlessly, they knew, that I was the one to make the final decision.
For a long time I went on saying “NO” whenever asked, but then Alexander, who’s disabled with no active speach, suddenly started using his AlphaTalker saying nothing but “dog” whenever he saw me, and I finally had to give in. Six months of nothing but “dog” really can crack a mom ;-)
Now we are the happy owners of a beautiful, wise and funny little dog named Oskar. He’s been in the family for almost 2 years and we’re all in love with him. He’s adorable and has a very good temper, but waiting for him, Oline (my daughter) kept dreaming about this little dog, she was waiting for and every morning she went on about when, if ever, we were going to fetch him. I think her dreams must have looked something like this…

1. september 2005 at 01:13Such an adorable illustration! I bet Alexander was having the very same dream and just couldn’t put it into more words. Ah, the delights of a child and a pet that is a beloved member of the family!

Your painting is lovely, heartwarming and I am sure Oskar likes it too.
After pleading for a year my husband and I went to the shelter yesterday to look for a new dog for our home. We go back on Saturday to pick up our new family member!
