“>Well, it’s that time of year. My work last fall is almost gone.

All my glasses in the pantry just stands there, shouting “empty” every time I enter the room and maybe some would consider that a sad thing, but I think it’s a good thing.

It means that all my hard work wasn’t in vain. That it did matter. That it did bring memories of summer into a long, dark and cold Winter.

The glasses are empty right now, but in a month or two they will be filled with berries, vegetables and vitamines. That gives me great pleasure and I can’t wait until time comes, for preserving. I just love it!
