Illustration Friday – kom med dit bud…
Se alle de fantastiske bud p? denne uges tema: Reinvent…
“>Every Spring we take the luxury to reinvent eachother. We leave kids, dog and home in the competent hands of grandma and drives down for a weekend all alone in Amsterdam.
We have two kids and the oldest is disabled, so everyday life sometimes gets a bit busy and filled with dutys instead of fun and attention, so this is a rare luxury and a treasure we really enjoy big time.
I’m leaving for my reinventing “being in love” this friday, so that had to become the theme for me this week.
Oh, and… Friday is just arund the corner ;-)

I’ve only been to Amsterdam, but we often spoke about taking the kids to Holland (Netherland) for a vacation. Maybe some day we will :-)

22. april 2005 at 02:48Wow, Liselotte…I always seem to be late in seeing your entries these days. Sorry for the late response. I DO love your work so much. This one is wonderful…I especially love the coffee in the cups and the little chocolates sitting beside them.
You might or might not know that my family is 100% Dutch…both my mom and dad are Dutch immigrants. So, I love that you go to Amsterdam every year, as I adore that city. My own family comes from just outside of Leiden…

20. april 2005 at 13:14lovely illustration (as usual) i love the swirls in the mugs. i have one suggestion, to make the branches have areas where you can see through them to the buildings behind. Break them up a bit, i mean. :)
